When I bought my aquarium plants, they came with a lot of snails.

The jar that I put all of the plant snails in, I put small clippings of each kind of plant in it too. I really expected the whole jar to die, the snails from lack of food and the plants from being devoured by the snails, but the snails have stuck to eating only dead plant matter and those plants are some of the healthiest I have. It's just more evidence that the best thing to do is just leave shit the fuck alone because it thrives when I do.

All of my other plants are 90% dead and covered in algae. This thing I just stuck behind the aquarium and left it for dead and it's the nicest looking "tank" I have.
