It's getting close to finished.

If you zoom in you can see water drops on it as I had it on the aquarium during the day and it collected the relatively rare drops of water that splash out of the filter. I expect worse when all three parts of the top are in place because water evaporates from the aquarium and condenses on the hood. However, the peanut butter jars should help to keep it away from the electrical and there are vent holes that connect above the peanut butter jars to the outside so that any moisture that does get in can evaporate over time. Hopefully this is a good enough design.
